Course Requirements

Pre-requisites

Course pre-requisites to Science 100 include successful completion of the following senior high school courses or their equivalents. (International equivalents)
  1. Biology 30 
  2. Chemistry 30 
  3. Physics 30 
  4. Pure Mathematics 30 or Mathematics 30-1

You will also need:

1. Admission to an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. (Beginning your studies in Fall 2014)

2. A 500 word Statement of Interest explaining why you want to be a part of Science 100.

3. A Reference Form completed by an instructor who taught one of your 30 level prerequisite courses.

Applicants must have satisfactory grades in order to be admitted to a degree program in the Faculty of Science. There are no additional grade requirements for Science 100.
